Small biz aided by PPP: Rand
A new study by the Rand Corp., entitled "Keeping the Defense Industrial Base Afloat During COVID-19", found that the Paycheck Protection Program was a very significant benefit for small businesses in the defense industrial base, especially manufacturers.
“Small business DOD contractors in the manufacturing sector had high uptake of benefits from the PPP,” the study said. “Most of the DOD contractors taking advantage of the PPP had fewer than 100 employees.”
