HUBZ telework changes today
Starting April 1, HUBZone contractors no longer will be able to count employees who temporarily worked at home during the pandemic as principal office employees, according to a client alert from PilieroMazza PLLC. Those were flexibilities offered to help contractors during the pandemic.
However, the SBA previously said there would be an exception made for firms that had documented, prior to the pandemic, that their teleworking employees were principal office employees. Those teleworking employees would still be counted as such.
