Emissions disclosure rule
Affects GovCons with $7.5M+ in annual awards
DOD, GSA and NASA on Nov. 14 published a proposed rule to require covered federal contractors to publicly disclose their greenhouse gas emissions.
Covered contractors are those with contracts of $7.5 million or more in the previous year. Federal contractors with $50 million or more in contracts in the previous year would have to disclose emissions and science-based targets. Comments are due Jan. 13.
