Predicts award dates

      The IRS announced it had developed a new Web application that statistically predicts when certain IRS contracts will be signed.

      The Projected Contract Award Date application is an interactive forecast dashboard developed utilizing data science and machine learning techniques. It predicts the likely time between a solicitation and an award.

      It was developed in partnership with Data and Analytic Solutions, a woman-owned small business.
