Senate OKs GSA chief
The Senate on June 23 confirmed Robin Carnahan as administrator of the General Services Administration.
Carnahan was elected the Missouri Secretary of State in 2004 and served until 2013 overseeing elections, regulating state securities and leading technology initiatives.
From 2016-2020, Carnahan founded and led the State and Local Government Practice at 18F, a tech consulting unit within the GSA, focusing on customer-facing digital projects.
Her father was the governor of Missouri and her grandfather, mother and brother all served in the U.S. Congress.
