Final STARS III awards made

      On June 17, the GSA named the final 61 awardees for the 8(a) STARS III governmentwide Best-in-Class contract, bringing the total number of awardees to 1,110.

      The entire 8(a) STARS III contract is a set-aside for the small disadvantaged business participants in the SBA’s 8(a) Business Development program. Two cohorts were previously awarded in the $50 billion-ceiling contract.

      8(a) STARS III is aimed at providing emerging tech, both within and outside the US, with limited protest rights up to $10 million. It supports President’s Biden’s executive order to support racial equity and underserved communities.
