Polaris SB RFP reissued

Due date now Aug. 10

      On June 30, the General Services Administration “unpaused” its Polaris Small Business Pool governmentwide acquisition vehicle solicitation.

      The Polaris Submission Portal is now open and the new deadline for proposals is Aug. 10.

      The agency also issued a “corrected” RFP with a July 12 due date for submitting questions.

      In March, GSA issued a solicitation for the $50 billion IT services and solutions Polaris GWAC for small businesses and women-owned small businesses.

      The agency paused the solicitations in May after vendors raised concerns about mentor-protege and joint venture past experience requirements. The agency recently released draft changes to the RFP regarding those terms.

      On July 1, the GSA announced the “corrected” RFP on SAM.gov.
