GSA’s new regional administrators

      The GSA on June 7 announced the appointments of two new Regional Administrators, effective immediately.

      Francis “Fran” Thomas will serve New England, the Northeast states and the Caribbean. He previously was senior director at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency.

      Denise Maes will serve the Great Lakes, Heartland and Rocky Mountains regions. She is an attorney who recently served as the Public Policy Director at the ACLU of Colorado.

Buy American update

      Comments are due by Aug. 8 on a proposed rule to make President Biden’s executive order on Buy American provisions part of the DFARS.

HSBC website redo highlights activities

      The HSBC’s GOP majority has upgraded their website with a prominent link at the top to current Activity, leading to a link of the schedule of upcoming committee hearings.

      The hearings schedule also is displayed under “Activity” on the committee Democrats’ website.
