Senate passes 2019 NDAA
The Senate passed its National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal 2019, including $618 billion for the Defense Dept.’s baseline budget, $69 billion for the overseas contingency fund and another $23 billion for defense-related programs at the Energy Dept.
The Senate included a provision in the bill to block President Trump's controversial deal to support Chinese telecommunications giant ZTE.
