GSA: we may reopen Schedule 75
“MAS 75” Industry Day scheduled for May 24 in New York
The General Services Administration is considering reopening Schedule 75 either in its previous form or in a new or partially new form, according to recent announcements on the GSA Interact website.
The GSA also has scheduled an “MAS 75 Industry Day” in New York City on May 24 to discuss the future of Schedule 75.
GSA’s Northeast and Caribbean Supply and Acquisition Center said they are hosting the industry day to serve as a public forum on the future of Schedule 75.
Schedule 75, for office supplies, was closed to new offerers in 2010, following creation of the Office Supplies (OS) strategic sourcing vehicle. That contract was followed by OS2, from fiscal 2012 to fiscal 2014, and also OS3, which started in December 2014.
The GSA released a 10-minute video on its Schedule 75 Community Group Web page on March 2 outlining options for Schedule 75: reopening with no changes from 2010 version, making a new schedule, or making limited changes. Comments were due by April 19.
