NITAAC prepares to release RFP for CIO-SP4
The National Institutes of Health IT Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) expects to release a solicitation for its CIO-SP4 contract this month, Brian Goodger, acting director of NITAAC, told Federal News Network.
The $40 billion IT services contract is anticipated to be awarded to as many as 450 large and small contractors early next year.
Goodger, who also is the program manager for CIO-SP4, said he expects to receive more than a thousand bids. Offers will be due on April 30.
Offers will be evaluated in three consecutive phases, and vendors will be notified after each phase on whether they have been removed from consideration, Goodger said.
