Small business GSA Schedules sales increased from 2017-2020

Small biz share of Schedules sales hit high point in 2020

     Small businesses were awarded 37.3% of General Services Schedules sales in fiscal 2020, which was the highest percentage of the last 15 years, according to the latest GSA data.

      Overall, small business Schedules sales, along with overall Schedules sales, rose from 2018-2020, but with less robust growth rates than for overall federal contract spending during the period, a Set-Aside Alert analysis of federal data indicates.

      Set-Aside Alert examined data from USASpending.gov, the GSA’s Schedules Sales Query Plus and the Small Business Administration’s Small Business Procurement Scorecards. The SBA scorecard for fiscal 2020 is not yet completed.

      All years refer to fiscal years in the following analyses.
