NASA’s NCAPS RFP coming Feb 28

      NASA released its latest presolicitation for its Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) requirement, with a solicitation anticipated on or about Feb. 28.

      The contract is an estimated $1 billion-plus task order that will be competed on GSA’s Alliant II vehicle, according to a report by Washington Technology.

      It was created as a consolidation of up to 10 contracts, including 7 small business contracts. However, there will be no set-asides for small business. Instead, there are requirements for small business subcontracting and a small business subcontracting goal of 32%.

      NCAPS requirements include IT systems maintenance and new application development.
