SBA is building MySBA all-certification platform
The SBA is bringing all its certification programs into a new online platform called MySBA, Larry Stubblefield, SBA’s deputy associate administrator of government contracting and business development, has announced.
MySBA, which is forecasted to be fully operational by the spring of 2024, initially is being developed for the new VetCert program for VOSB and SDVOSB certifications that began last month, Stubblefield told FedNewsNetwork.
SBA expects to add HUBZone certifications to MySBA next, with additional programs added down the road, he said. “This is going to unify all of our certification and lending programs,” Stubblefield said.
It was not immediately clear whether MySBA would replace Certify.gov. The SBA’s Inspector General has accused SBA of wasting nearly $30 million on Certify.gov’s limited capabilities. Set-Aside Alert is following up.
