Tangherlini to leave GSA on Feb. 13
General Services Administration Administrator Dan Tangherlini announced he is stepping down after nearly three years in that post. His last day is Feb. 13.
Tangherlini, who arrived at GSA in 2012 after a conference spending scandal, is known for his efforts to modernize the GSA, including forming the 18F innovation unit and overseeing GSA’s move to renovated headquarters.
His departure reportedly was voluntary and he had announced no new position as of press time.
Deputy Administrator Denise Turner Roth will serve as acting administrator.
