Another CR?
Current CR expires Feb 18
Concerns are growing that Congress may not achieve approval of a full-year fiscal 2022 budget by the time the current Continuing Resolution expires on Feb. 18. There is talk of another CR, possibly a full-year CR that would span the remains of the entire 2022 fiscal year.
If there is a full-year CR, it would delay the start of new programs in all agencies, and reduce many other projects. Defense Dept. officials testified recently that a full-year CR would have severe negative effects on tech modernization and cybersecurity efforts.
