SBA’s 64 new rules by Dec. 31
The Small Business Administration announced 64 regulations in the works for the remainder of calendar 2023, of which nearly half are related to the pandemic-era Paycheck Protection Program forgiveable loans to small businesses. Many of the other rulemakings affect small business federal contracting.
The SBA’s list includes two Prerule regulations, 15 Proposed Rules and 47 Final Rules, of which 30 are PPP-related.
The SBA’s list appears on the Office of Management and Budget’s Spring 2023 Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions posted online on June 14. Here are highlights from SBA’s list:
