GSA awards Alliant 2 small biz

     The General Services Administration made a pre-award announcement that 80 small businesses had won a place on the Alliant 2 Small Business Contract for IT services. The total value of the contract is about $15 billion.

      The GSA announced the successful offerers in a pre-award notice, which allows other businesses to challenge small business status. An official award notice is expected shortly.

      The Alliant 2 contracts cover systems design, software engineering, information assurance and enterprise architecture products.

      Sixty-three of the awardees are located in the Washington, DC metro area, while 17 are outside that area.
