Service Contract Act Reporting deadline

      The DOD released three final rules and two proposed rules in recent weeks.

      The final rules would:

• Prohibit awards to entities that require workers to sign internal confidentiality agreements (https://bit.ly/3Uc75wU);
• Remove the DOD preference for fixed-price contracts (https://bit.ly/3DPbReh); and
• Set additional requirements for submitting data other than cost or pricing data (https://bit.ly/3UaSum1).

      The proposed rules would:

• Implement a GAO-recommended process for quick closeouts (https://bit.ly/3DqXj3h); and
• Refine the management of undefinitized contract actions (https://bit.ly/3DMuW0N).
