A close, tense election Nov. 8
Polls are showing that control of the Senate is up for grabs with several very close races in the midterm elections on Nov. 8. House control may be flipping due to many districts having been redrawn by state legislatures. If either chamber flips it could prolong approval on fiscal 2023 approprations bills.
Issues for Democrats have been women’s rights and protection of democracy, while the GOP members have focused on inflation.
