GSA launches single schedule for professional services
The General Services Administration’s new single Professional Services Schedule is now officially launched, as of October 1.
The GSA said it consolidated eight schedules into one in a move to improve efficiency and ease of use and reducing duplication and administrative costs. The agency said it eliminated more than 700 contracts, resulting in estimated savings of $3.95 million for the first five years, and $1.3 million a year in savings in the following years.
