Min. wage rule

The Labor Dept. issued a notice on Sept. 16 raising the minimum wage to $11.25 an hour for federal contract employees on existing contracts, effective Jan. 1, 2022. For new contracts after that date, the minimum is $15 an hour.

DOL in July also issued a proposed rule on contractor minimum wages.
