Does your small business have what it takes to get onto the lucrative GSA OASIS contract?

Presolicitation notices for the GSA OASIS small business pool on-ramp are expected to be coming within weeks. There will definitely be an OASIS small business on-ramp in 2019 with room for quite a few new small businesses, according to Federal News Radio.

OASIS is expected to generate about $60 billion in professional services contracts in fiscal 2017, according to a recent analysis by Bloomberg Government.

NASA revises property custody reporting

NASA wants contractors who have custody of at least $10 million worth of NASA equipment to start monthly reporting, so that NASA’s financial statements are more accurate.

NASA contractors who have custody of the agency’s property already report annually.

According to NASA’s records, there were 643 contracts that required reporting from contractors in fiscal 2015.

Of the 643 contracts, approximately 20%, or 129 contracts, were with small businesses contractors. But only 32 of those contracts involved custody of NASA property over $10 million.
