New DFARS systems rule

Contractors would be allowed to do self-evaluations and choose their own auditors to comply with Defense Department rules for their business systems under a new proposed rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Some view the proposal as a burden on contractors because the vendors would pay for their own audits, 360News reported.
