GSA selects JanSan winners
The General Services Administration has awarded 14 companies a blanket purchase agreement for the Janitorial and Sanitation Commodities (JanSan) purchasing channel under the Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative.
The GSA said its awards were made on the basis of “best overall value” and “most advantageous to the government on the basis of a lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) best value determination.”
Set-Aside Alert obtained a list of the JanSan winners to date from a reliable source. There are expected to be 21 awardees in all.
The GSA has estimated total spending through JanSan at about $600 million a year. Of the 21 JanSan awards, GSA said 12 would be for small businesses and three would be for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
