GAO updates high risk list
The Government Accountability Office on April 20 issued its updated High Risk List highlighting 37 areas in the federal government at high risk of fraud, abuse or mismanagement. Many are longstanding risks.
Sixteen areas showed improvement since 2021, including:
- NASA Acquisition Management;
- Veterans Affairs Dept. Acquisition Management; and
- Energy Dept.’s Acquisition and Program Management.
