SBA to add WBCs in MD
Cardin, Carranza talked of it in hearing
The SBA--under new Administrator, Jovita Carranza, since Jan. 14-- announced it is making up to $75,000 available for each for up to two additional Women’s Business Centers in Maryland. The deadline for application is Feb. 16.
The announcement comes several weeks after Carranza appeared before the Senate Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, where she was asked to consider a new WBC for Maryland by Sen. Ben Cardin, D-MD, top-ranking Democrat on the panel.
