  Coming RFPs in FY20 forecasts

     		There’s a lot of information to find in federal agencies’ fiscal 2020 acquisition forecasts--but you have to dig for it. Here’s a small sample.

     	For 8(a) Business Development participants, there are 24 awards currently predicted for 2020 and 2021 for GSA and the Interior and Labor Depts. Five of those awards are in Washington, DC; four in California and three in Virginia. They include:

-  GSA award for Custodial Operation and Maintenance, Alexandria, VA; fourth quarter of 2020; up to $2 million; Listing ID 19427;
 -  GSA award for Operations & Maintenance, Phoenix, AZ, third quarter of 2021; up to $10 million; Listing ID 18162;
 - Interior award for Records Management Support, Washington, DC, third quarter of 2020; up to $150,000; Listing ID 18846.

     	For HUBZone firms, there currently are 17 anticipated awards listed in the Homeland Security Dept.’s acquisition planning tool. These include:

-  The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center has a maximum $50 million construction contract to be awarded in the second quarter of 2020 in Artesia, NM; the APFS Number is F2019045442;
 - Coast Guard contract for Grounds Maintenance in San Diego, CA; up to $250,000; APFS Number is F2019047460.

     	For Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses, the Veterans Affairs Dept. has 12 opportunities listed for 2020 in its forecasting search tool. All but one were projected for the first quarter of 2020. The single award for the second quarter of 2020 is for ENT, Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, over $5 million. The ID number is VA-19-00102643.

     	For women-owned small businesses (WOSBs), the Transportation Dept.’s procurement forecast website anticipates an award of up to $1 million for a construction contract in Santa Ysabel, CA in the third quarter of 2020. The contact person is Ryan Phillips at Ryan.d.phillips@dot.gov. There were two other awards listed for WOSBs, but both were for fiscal 2019.
