Deal reached on $738B NDAA

      House and Senate armed services conference members on Dec. 9 announced an agreement on the $738 billion National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal 2020.

      The deal creates a new Space Force and removed some restrictions on a border wall.

      It includes several provisions related to small business contracting, primarily SBIR and STTR programs and cybersecurity, along with numerous other acquisition measures.

      It lists more than 40 acquisition-related legislative provisions left out of the deal.
