Continuing Resolution, PPP updates
At presstime, the House was preparing to vote on a one-week Continuing Resolution (CR) that would extend funding for the government until Dec. 18. The current CR expires Dec. 11.
House leaders said the one-week extension is to provide more time to complete an omnibus budget bill. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, has said she hopes GOP leaders will help pass COVID19 relief, with more Paycheck Protection Program loans.
