Tietronix ‘not guilty’ verdict

A small disadvantaged business contractor at NASA accused of making false statements to the government has now cleared his name in court.

Victor Tang, founder of Tietronix Software of Houston, TX, faced multiple charges following an investigation that began with a routine audit.

FBI agents broke down an office door with a battering ram to collect multiple documents from Tietronix as part of the investigation, according to an article in Forbes.

A year after the FBI raid, Tang was indicted on seven counts of making false statements about project costs and hours worked in reports submitted to NASA.

Tang defended his actions in court, saying that he prepared the documents as NASA directed.

      The jury ruled “not guilty.”
