Turmoil in weeks ahead
CR to expire Dec. 11
The next few weeks will be turbulent. White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said Nov. 18 he cannot guarantee there won’t be a shutdown when current funding expires Dec. 11. President Trump said he would veto the NDAA for 2021 unless Confederate names can remain on military bases. And on Jan. 5, voters in the state of Georgia will elect two US Senators. If both Democrats win, it will shift control of the US Senate to Democrats.
