Deadlines for SDVOSBs
VA will stop accepting verification applications
on Oct. 24
The Veterans Affairs Dept. issued guidelines on Sept. 23 for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certifications in the coming weeks while preparing for the Small Business Administration to assume such certifications starting on Jan. 1, 2023.
The guidelines included deadlines for VA verifications for some firms, and details on a year-long grace period.
The tightest deadline is for self-certified SDVOSB seeking a set-aside or sole source contract from the VA within the next three months...more....
