The 21 million victims of the White House personnel hack will get identity theft and credit card monitoring and other services under a $133 million contract, the Office of Personnel Management and Defense Department announced.

The contract was awarded to Identity Theft Guard Solutions LLC, doing business as ID Experts.

Notifications were to start going out in late August and continue for several weeks. The services are for affected federal employees, former employees and contractors whose personal information was compromised in the breach. There is no charge to the victims.

Services include credit monitoring, identity monitoring, identity theft insurance, and identity restoration services for a period of three years.
