Biden picks OFPP head
President Joe Biden has nominated Biniam Gebre to be administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, in the Office of Management and Budget.
Gebre currently is senior managing director of Accenture and head of management consulting for Accenture Federal Services. He previously was a partner with McKinsey & Co and also served in the Obama Administration at the Housing & Urban Development Dept.
Gebre, who immigrated to the U.S. at age 9 as a refugee from Eritrea, earned a bachelor’s degree from Williams College and an MBA from Northwestern U.
