EEO-1 portal to remain open
Covered contractors faced a June 29 deadline to have confirmed their Affirmative Action program compliance for the year within OFCCP’s new Contractor Portal.
The Contractor Portal will remain open beyond the deadline to accommodate newly covered contractors, who must develop a program within 120 days and must register with the portal and file the plan within 90 days after that, Daniel A. Kaplan, partner with Foley & Lardner LLP, wrote in a recent blog.
A covered contractor is one that has 50 or more employees and a contract with a federal agency of $50,000 or more (for Plans under Exec. Order 11246 and Section 503 of the Rehab Act of 1973) and/or $150,000 or more for plans under VEVRAA.
Contractors that failed to meet the June 29 deadline are more likely to be audited. See the Scheduling List of supply and services contractors that may be audited in 2023 at the link below.
