Where's the FY2019 small biz scorecard?

Fiscal year 2019 ended more than eight months ago, and reports on total obligations and contract spending are presumably mostly complete.

The SBA released a Fiscal 2019 Small Business Procurement Scorecard Grade Calculation Methodology in February outlining how the scores will be computed this year.

But when is the SBA's actual scorecard coming out that shows whether the government met its 23% goal for small business procurement? Stay tuned as we await SBA’s answer.

SBA OIG says it saved taxpayers $18M

The SBA's Office of Inspector General's audits and investigations resulted in $18 million in monetary recoveries to the government in the past six months, according to the OIG’s semiannual report to Congress.

During the six months, the OIG completed investigations that led to 16 indictments and 24 convictions for fraud and/or fraud-related charges.

The OIG also sent referrals to SBA that resulted in 15 suspension or debarment actions at other agencies.
