Affirmative Action Program certs due by June 30

The Labor Dept.’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs launched a new online Contractor Portal in February allowing certain federal contractors to certify compliance with Affirmative Action Program (AAP) requirements. The deadline is June 30.

Federal supply and service contractors and subcontractors with a contract of $50,000-plus and 50-plus employees must certify their AAP compliance each year on the portal. Those with $150,000-plus contracts and 50-plus employees have additional requirements. Construction-only contractors are exempt.

Also, OFCCP has changed AAP audit procedures (see story).
