OFCCP ID’s firms for audits; changes processes
The OFCCP on May 20 released its Corporate Schedule Announcement List naming the 400 federal supply and service contractors whom it will audit for their Affirmative Action Program (AAP) compliance in fiscal 2022.
Soon to come are scheduling letters to set dates for the audits.
Some of those contractors will have less time to prepare for the audits as OFCCP has changed some of its procedures, according to the National Law Review.
Under the Trump Administration, there was a 45-day automatic delay between announcing which contractors would be audited and the scheduling letters to allow contractors time to prepare for audits. OFCCP recently eliminated that delay period.
In addition, the Trump Administration allowed many 30-day extensions of time to produce personnel transaction data for the audits. The OFCCP also has eliminated most such extensions.
As a result of OFCCP’s changes in procedures, contractors being audited may have much less time to prepare.

The GAO concluded that the RSA did not apply to the Navy’s stated requirement.
