Rubio’s new Intel role
Sen. Marco Rubio, R-FL, has been named the acting chair of the Senate Intelligence Panel, replacing Sen. Richard Burr, R-NC who is currently under investigation by the FBI for insider stock trades.
Rubio also chairs the Senate Small Business Committee. Under Senate rules, he may need a waiver from Senate leaders to retain that post while also chairing another Senate committee.
