MAS’ Springboard to expand
The General Services Administration plans to issue a Multiple Award Schedules modification this month to expand its Springboard program to all categories, not just IT. Springboard allows entities with less than two years of experience to apply for schedules contracts with looser requirements. As a result, contractors may use their joint ventures to apply for all SINs in all schedules contracts, not just those in the IT category, according to Cy Alba, partner, PilieroMazza PLLC.
