Velazquez presumed ill with COVID-19
Rep. Nydia Velazquez, D-NY, chair of the House Small Business Committee, on March 30 revealed she has COVID-19 symptoms and is presumed infected with the COVID-19 virus.
“I developed the abrupt onset of muscle aches, fevers, nasal congestion and stomach upset. I noticed that I could no longer smell my perfume or taste my food,” Velazquez, 67, told CBS News. She is in self-quarantine at home.
