Biden budget calls for $987M for SBA programs in fiscal 2024
Increases for counseling, veteran contracting and more
President Joe Biden’s proposed budget for fiscal 2024 includes $987 million in discretionary budget authority for the Small Business Administration.
There are increases planned for counseling and training, veteran contracting opportunities, and for small business lending and innovation, the White House announced March 9.
However, the budget is very unlikely to be approved in its current form by the GOP-led House.
