Privacy guide for small firms
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has developed a privacy framework for new technologies and is working on a privacy guide for small and medium-sized firms.
NIST Director Walter Copan announced the developments at a recent Center for Strategic and International Studies event, according to a NextGov report.
“Getting privacy right will underpin the use of technologies in the future, including [artificial intelligence] and biometrics, quantum computing, the internet of things and personalized medicine,” Copan said.
