Democrats unveil $760B infrastructure plan
U.S. House Democrats proposed to spend $760 billion over five years to strengthen the nation’s deteriorating roads and bridges and reduce pollution.
The report would boost small businesses in manufacturing, construction, clean energy and transportation, according to a report from Rep. Nydia Velazquez, D-NY, chair of the House Small Business Committee.
The plan would create more than 10 million jobs, mostly in small business construction and transportation, Velazquez’ report said.
