GSA updates, adds PSCs
The General Services Administration announced an update to Product Service Codes (PSCs) within the Integrated Acquisition Environment. The new codes also align with a new PSC Manual.
The changes include:
- Activating 155 new research and development codes;
- Setting termination dates for 721 research and development codes;
- Activating 40 new IT codes;
- Setting termination dates for 68 IT codes;
- Activating two new product codes--PSC 6835 (new) and PSC 6830 (revised); and
- Renaming PSC Q901 to Healthcare Environmental Cleaning, from Aseptic Housekeeping Services.
Users of SAM.gov, FPDS.gov and other systems need to use the new PSC codes. Users of the PSC API are advised to check accuracy with open.gsa.gov/api/PSC-Public-API.
