Consolidated Appropriations
President Trump on Dec. 27 signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, consisting of a $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill for the 2021 federal fiscal year and $900 billion for COVID-19 relief (see related story).
The 5,000-plus page legislation combines annual appropriations for 12 federal agencies. Its passage averted a government shutdown.
