The Veterans Affairs Department has canceled its recent $39.9 million contract award to manage its Center for Veterans Enterprise, according to a Nov. 18 U.S. Court of Federal Claims filing obtained by Washington Business Journal.

The VA rescinded the award to Monterey Consultants Inc. of Dayton, OH. It was for processing applications for verification of veteran ownership.
