Buy Indian rule
The Interior Dept. has proposed a rule to facilitate Buy Indian Act set-asides. It would eliminate the restriction on Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) from competing on certain construction contracts issued under the Buy Indian Act, expand IEEs’ ability to subcontract and give greater preference to IEEs.
