Murphy GSA appointment on hold
Emily Murphy’s confirmation as administrator of the General Services Administration has been postponed by the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
The committee was scheduled to vote on Murphy’s and other confirmations in late October, but Chairman Ron Johnson, R-WI, has postponed the votes until he obtains certain documents he requested from the White House. The documents reportedly pertain to Congress’ exemption from Obamacare.
